Our engineer, Josh, has installed two handheld waiters pads at The Welly Pub and Smoke House in Cromer. As well as the Handheld pads, Josh also installed the latest ICRTouch Software to their 3 existing Touch Screens.
The Handhelds will provide a speedy service, providing accurate information regarding customers choice directly through to the kitchen and choice of drinks directly to the bar, this will eliminate issues such as unreadable orders due to bad hand writing and other mistakes that are easily made with pen and paper.
More information will be available to both the customer and the waiters as the waiting staff will know what’s unavailable or running low in the kitchen, the customer will be able to order their steak exactly how they wish it to be cooked plus optional extras to go with their meal and also special diet requirements as a section on the handheld is available for the waiters to edit the items on the menu to suit the customers requests, the use of the pads saves time and allows your staff to spend quality time with your customer at the table.
And if you serve alfresco this has massive benefits especially with saving time and again providing a prompt service to your much valued customers.

A bit about The Welly
As I mentioned earlier, Josh also installed the latest ICR Touch Software to the existing Touch Screens they already had at The Welly, and this also will provide the management with accurate information regarding daily/weekly takings, stock levels and so much more.
As we have so many customers it`s always lovely to visit the coast at this time of the year, business is buzzing and the streets are full of tourists and its not even the height of the season yet, but Cromer is quite spectacular when the sky is blue and the sun is shining. We have many special customers in Cromer so it’s always a pleasure to visit them too whilst in the area.
On the day of installation at The Welly they were about to open the new Steak House that very night, so it was important the installation went smoothly, which it did!
Josh trained the staff on the day of installation, but as with all our customers they are assured that we offer an out of hours service, where you just call the normal office number and the call is immediately transferred to one of our engineers who will help you. So help is never far away!
Family run business
The Welly is a family run business, a lovely friendly coastal pub/restaurant with a great atmosphere.
It`s situated right in the heart of Cromer, and is only a stones throw away from the breathtaking beach and Pier, so I guess you could say its perfectly placed for all seasons as there are always local events taking place.
As well as serving some very fine Ales there’s a choice of cocktails, spirits and most importantly SKY Sports! A pool table and I do believe a dart board are both available.
So if you are lucky enough to visit the North Norfolk coast this Summer, make sure you enjoy the beautiful views that Cromer has to offer along with the great sense of wellbeing when you breathe in that sea air. And if you visit at Christmas time you will have the opportunity to see a lovely show at the Cromer Pier or even visit Thursford which is quite spectacular!
