We love the name of this pub, The Dabbling Duck, how great is that?
Josh visited them recently and installed 3 Touch Screens, 2 bar printers and 2 kitchen printers and we must not forget the amazing ICR Touch Office Web!

Touch Screens
So, let`s start at the beginning…the Touch Screens are robust and completely user friendly! As I mentioned in my previous blogs, the screens don’t like pens or pencils being used although the units are robust the screens will only need a gentle finger to operate them.
The system was installed with, what we class as, the best Software for hospitality ICR TOUCH. This will provide you with the ultimate service that you require for the smooth running of your business, providing accurate readings daily or weekly, with stock balances and so much more.

Kitchen and Bar Printers
Moving on…The kitchen printers and bar printers were also installed on the day, as well as this they have the incredible ICR Touch Office Web.
This piece of software will enable you to view live all transactions as and when they happen…even from your sun bed! Staff Training and Support
Staff were trained on the day of installation, but all our customers are always left with the understanding that we are just a phone call away if assistance is required. We pride ourselves on our service and support and we totally understand and acknowledge the fact that majority of our customers are in the world of hospitality, and this means you work extremely long and unsociable hours, but we offer an out of hours support line for all emergencies.
You simply just call the normal office number and calls are transferred to our team of engineers who man the lines out of hours, just leave your message and a contact number and an engineer will return your call as soon as possible, its that’s simple!

The Dabbling Duck, Norfolk
There’s quite a nice little story here as the pub has 3 owners…Are you sitting comfortably?
Yes, 3 owners…There are 2 owners that are local farmers and they stepped in to save this beautiful pub and the possible re-development back in 2006, the third owner is Mark Dobby. Mark was brought in to manage the Dabbling Duck in 2013.
Mark has an excellent knowledge and experience in award winning pubs and hotels for well over 10 years, this has made him well qualified to elevate The Dabbling Duck to another level. Mark also joined the Dabbling Duck with his wife Sally, and Sally herself is no stranger to the world of hospitality after being a co-owner of a local Bistro for 5 years.
Sally is also a professional local photographer and I’m sure when visiting you may well see some of her prints in and around the pub.
At The Dabbling Duck they are very proud of their game dishes, and when ever possible all their produce is sourced locally. They also pride themselves on having a great team, both front of house and behind the scenes, they truly do provide an excellent service and combined with the fact that The Dabbling Duck is set in this beautiful part of Norfolk, located in Great Massingham, near King`s Lynn.
